James lives at Tiebridge Farm near Stockbridge with his two children, the dog and two pigs. The farmhouse is a few yards from the Barn Store building, and he is available to help with your enquiries and show you around.

The Stockbridge Barn Store building was originally a large cow shed and was part of a much larger farm. Recently renovated, the barn has a new lease of life as a storage facility.

The farm is located close to the banks of the famous River Test, known throughout the world for the quality of its fly fishing for trout. The oldest fishing club in England, The Houghton Club, was founded in 1882 and is based locally. Tiebridge Farm looks out across the peaceful water meadows.

Stockbridge has an abundance of independent specialist shops including tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, as well as art galleries, craft and gift shops, clothing specialists, a delicatessen and a traditional butchers. Stockbridge High Street was voted "best foodie street" in the 2010 Google Street View Awards. Nearby attractions include Danebury Hill Fort, Houghton Lodge Gardens, Mottisfont House and the Museum of Army Flying at Middle Wallop.

The conversion of the redundant cow shed to a Barn Store facility has been assisted by a grant from DEFRA and the EU* to promote rural sustainability and local employment.

We are located 1.5miles from the A30 that runs through Stockbridge in the village of North Houghton. We are 11 miles from Winchester, 10 miles from Salisbury, 10 miles from Andover and 6 miles from Romsey.
